Irezumi is a highly recommended tattoo parlor in the city,its on College Road in Nungambakam. Another place I would suggest is Ink-the-Tatoo Studio at Fountain Plaza. Ink is run by Tarun who had his training from some of the top tattoo artists in Bangkok.
Try King Tricks,its run by R.Raja who has been in the field for more than 5 yrs now.He is well known for his mastery over Chinese and religious symbols.
If its a temporary one,the you can get it done at any of the salons or beauty parlor. If you want a permanent one then its highly recommended that you get it done at a professional tatoo parlor,i would suggest either Irezumi or Black Magic or Ink.
